Features

everything vesper does.

An editorial weather app with native polish. Every feature earns its place.

Live data

the air, measured.

Wind direction, gusts, atmospheric pressure — refreshed every minute from the station nearest you. The numbers feed every brief, every sunset prediction, every alert. Quietly accurate.

  • Sub-minute station updates
  • Multi-source validation
  • No estimated grids, real readings

The app, tab by tab

four tabs. no filler.

Every screen in Vesper earns its place. There are four tabs, and each one answers a specific question about the sky above you.

Vesper Today tab showing 71° cloudy, hourly forecast, and metric chips

Today

The current sky, the feels-like, and the next twelve hours — in one calm glance.

Vesper Trajectory tab showing 10-day forecast with precipitation probability

Trajectory

Ten days out, scored for precipitation and charted by temperature range.

Vesper Sky tab showing tonight’s sunset brief — 28 out of 100, Collapse

Sky

The editorial brief, sun arc, wind, and tonight’s sunset rating, all in one tab.

Vesper Nodes tab showing saved locations for Niles, Miami, and Los Angeles

Nodes

Every city that matters to you — pinned, scored, and ready to tap into.

What to wear

clothes, written like weather.

Every item Vesper Sky suggests is described the way the brief describes the day — fiber first, weight second, treatment third. “240gsm mill-finished tropical wool.” “Superfine Tasmanian merino.” No brand names, no generic labels. Just enough specification to know what your hand will feel when you reach for it.

  • Fiber, weight, treatment
  • Build + real atmospheric read
  • Written like the brief, not a grid of SKUs

On your wrist

the same forecast, on the smallest screen you own.

Sunset countdown. UV index. Streak. Three complications that read the same forecast the brief is written against, and earn their place next to the minute markers.

Not at launch. Vesper ships first on iOS and Android, with a dedicated watchOS app. A Mac app is under consideration based on beta feedback.

Yes. Vesper runs on iPad as a universal iOS app with adaptive layouts for larger screens. Live Activities, widgets, and Sunset Verify all work on iPad.

Can I use Vesper offline?

Yes. The most recent brief, forecast, and sunset prediction are cached locally so you can read them without a connection. Fresh data requires a network call, but you will always see the last successful fetch when you open the app.

Does Vesper Sky have dark mode?

Yes. Vesper respects your system appearance and renders in both light and dark themes. The dark theme uses the same editorial color palette as the daytime sky gradient — warm copper through deep navy.
